MDIFramework is an open source library software written in the Java programming language and designed to provide an easy-to-use and ready-to-use architecture for creating MDI-style applications in Java. MDIFramework can easily handle the overall architecture of the application’s main window, using a tabbed architecture as well as a HTML printable message area. In addition, this Java framework offers a generic API for handling lengthy actions, keep the application’s interface responsive, and making sure that actions are performed one by one. MDIFramework can also add metadata to files, and handles loading/unloading of external plugins when opened.
