gexiv2 Description

gexiv2 is an open source library software written in Python and based on GObject for providing a wrapper around the Exiv2 library, porting its basic features to GNOME applications. Originally developed by the Yorba Foundation, who also maintains the famous Shotwell and Geary applications, and thanks to the recently added support for GObject Introspection, the gexiv2 library features excellent support for Python 2 and Python 3, which makes it accessible by any other programming language that supports GObject Introspection. gexiv2 is a mandatory dependency of the Shotwell photo organizer application.
