PyDAW OS is an open source and completely free Live Linux operating system based on the world’s most popular free operating system, Ubuntu Linux, and designed to be used for as a complete environment for producing electronic music, powered by the amazing PyDAW application. PyDAW OS allows users to easily produce or mix/remix music on any workstation or laptop that’s capable of booting the Ubuntu Linux operating system. It comes pre-installed with the Mixxx, Audacity and PyDAW software. Being distributed as a single Live CD ISO image, and supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures, PyDAW OS is designed to be used directly from the live media (CD or USB). A LXDE edition of PyDAW OS based on Fedora Linux also exists on Softpedia.
