Net Style Kannel Appliance is an open source Linux operating system that contains a pre-installed version of Kannel and related software for easy deployment of SMS services. Net Style Kannel Appliance is comprised of the Kannel SMS/WAP gateway, OpenSMPPBox add-on for Kannel, SQLBox addon for Kannel, and PostgreSQL RDBMS. Being powered by Linux kernel: 2.6.32 (RHEL/CentOS based), Net Style Kannel Appliance features OpenVZ virtualisation support, PostgreSQL 9.0, RDBMS, and Monit. The system is based on the ALT Linux 6.0 operating system and distributed as a single ISO image or a virtual machine image.
