HoneyDrive Description

HoneyDrive is not a real Linux operating system, it is actually a virtual appliance (OVA) based on the Xubuntu 12.04 LTS (32-bit) edition. HoneyDrive contains various honeypot software packages, such as Kippo SSH honeypot, Honeyd low-interaction honeypot, Dionaea malware honeypot, Thug honeyclient, Glastopf web honeypot along with Wordpot, and others. Among some of the features offered by HoneyDrive, we can mention a full LAMP stack, a full suite of security, anti-malware and forensics tools for network monitoring, as well as extensions for the Mozilla Firefox web browser, plus extra helpful software, such as Terminator, GParted, Adminer, Xpdf, and VYM. HoneyDrive is distributed as an OVA (Open Virtualization Format) file, that should run on any compatible virtual machine software, such as VMWare or VirtualBox.
