The extWARN Emergency Alert Software System is a browser-based solution that makes broadcasting alerts and warnings to office employees and/or campus personnel fast, easy, and accurate. extWARN uses a web-based Administration Console which provides for management of all broadcast warnings/targets as well as for transmission of all emergency broadcasts to users via TCP/IP. extWARN also uses a Client Module that is loaded into PC's at Windows. startup or when users log into the network. This client program monitors a TCP port for receipt of extWARN alerts/warnings and automatically invokes a targeted user's default web browser to display the transmitted information. This version is licensed for 15 warnings/targets (3840 max IP addresses).
