Wonderful Skies Description

This package contains 12 photorealistic 360? wide skies, so that you can actually see the sky from any angle in a 3D environment. The skies are divided in each folder by category for quick access, and each folder contains both a SPHEREMAP (an inside-out sphere mapped with a properly rendered 360? image) and a SKYBOX (a set of five images rendered as an inside-out cube, one image for each face bottom excluded). The images are in jpeg format (you can use this tool to convert them to your preferred format), and the package also includes the corresponding 3D file for each spheremap in .lwo, .ms3d, .x, .pz3 formats (Lightwave 6 or above, Milkshape 3D, DirectX, Poser 3 or above) and for each skybox in .lwo, .ms3d, .x formats (Lightwave 6 or above, Milkshape 3D, DirectX). The main folder also contains Skyviewer (Windows only), an application which lets you both preview the environments in realtime and take snapshots to be used as 2D backgrounds, Poser Backgrounds or wallpapers. Skyviewer is also able to preview any spheremap or skybox you create while automatically loading the images needed for the environment in a single step, and you can actually save a lot of different backgrounds by changing the camera angle and the zoom.
