Widget plug-in Description

The Amsys Widget plug-in for FileMaker Pro 4 gives FileMaker eight new functions. These are Widgt-Find_Replace, Widgt-Char_Ascii, Widgt-Ascii_Char, Widgt-Y2K, Widgt-Set_File, Widgt-Set_Path, Widgt-Write_File and Widgt-Append_File.Widgt-Find_Replace replaces a specific character or string of characters in a text field with another character or string of characters.Widgt-Char_Ascii takes a single character and returns its Ascii value.Widgt-Ascii_Char takes a decimal number and returns its character.Widgt-Y2K returns the number of days, hours, minutes and seconds until the Year 2000.Widgt-Set_File, Widgt-Set_Path, Widgt-Write_File and Widgt-Append_File are used together to write data to a specified text file (FileMaker Pro developers have been crying out for this feature).
