It does not contain complex features or configuration parameters, making it accessible to all types of users, even the ones with little or no previous experience in such apps.No installation requiredSince this is a portable program, you can save the executable file to any part of the hard disk and just click it to run. Worth mentioning is that the tool does not create new entries in the Windows registry or Start menu, thus leaving no traces behind after removing it. Clear-cut interface and options The GUI does not contain any visually attractive elements but it is simple to navigate, since it consists of a classical window split into two panes for selecting projects and viewing log details, respectively. Configure settings easilyIt is possible to add a URL and description, point out a saving directory, and specify the time interval between image downloads (in minutes). Plus, the URL can be tested before applying the settings and creating the simple project. Log details are shown in the main frame and they include the time and date, project name, along with full path for each downloaded image. Apart from the fact that you can remove projects from the list, there are no other notable options available here. Evaluation and conclusionWeb Cam Time Lapse has a good response time to commands and it is very prompt when it comes to downloading pictures. It did not hang, crash or pop up error messages in our tests. However, we have noticed that it does not support specific types of photos, downloading empty files instead.
