The Attack of Mutant Fruits from Outer Space is an addictive game based on the popular video game of the 80s, "Space Invaders". Your mission is to destroy the alien spaceships that threaten to invade our planet. You will have to pilot a spaceship and shoot aliens while dodging their attacks. An interesting variation to the classic game is that the evil invaders are mutations of various types of fruits and vegetables: apples, strawberries, pumpkins, pineapples, peaches - all seeking to invade our planet. The game has good graphics and sounds. And each level has its own background music. The game is also quite easy to play. You can use the keys on the keyboard to move your spacecraft in the game, or a joystick. Although it would be nice if you could also use the mouse to move the spacecraft. Finally, the game comes as a standalone file that requires no installation on your system - at least on Windows operating systems - and uses little system resources.
