Text to Voice Converter is a simple-to-use program that facilitates a text-to-speech conversion utility, as the name implies. It includes an intuitive set of options that can be adjusted even by less experienced users. The interface is based on a regular window with a plain and simple layout, where you can write text in the dedicated box and click a button to hear it spoken. The text can be saved to a plain text document (TXT format) by establishing the output directory and file name, while the voice can be exported to a WAV file. Text to Voice Converter provides four characters to choose the voice from, along with four skins for the interface. There are no other notable options available through this application. We have noticed a minimal CPU and memory consumption during the utility's runtime. It is very responsive to key strokes and mouse events. No error messages were shown throughout our evaluation, and Text to Voice Converter did not hang or crash. All in all, this proves to be a reliable program for converting text to speech, which can be handled by all types of users, thanks to its overall simplicity.
