TatukGIS Coordinate Calculator Description

TatukGIS Coordinate Calculator is a simple application that allows you to convert the coordinates of a point between coordinate systems. It can be seamlessly handled, even by less skilled users. After a quick installation procedure, you are greeted by a small, regular window with a well-organized layout. So, all you have to do is write the latitude, longitude and altitude, as well as display "Degree Minutes Seconds" (DMS) and "Decimal Degrees" (DD). Results are immediately shown in the main application window. You can toggle the conversion mode between projected system (e.g. World Equidistant Cylindrical Sphere, World Mollweide) and geographic system (e.g. Adindan, Viti Levu). Unfortunately, you cannot save the numerical values to a plain text document (TXT format) or similar file. However, you can copy each field to the Clipboard for further analysis. The straightforward program uses a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, so it doesn't hog the computer resources. It has a good response time and displays results quickly. We have not encountered any issues throughout our testing, since the app did not freeze, crash or display error notifications.
