These include *.AVI, *.WMV, *.ASF, *.ASX, *.MPG, *.M1V, *.M2V, *.M2P, *.VOB etc. The utility also contains a DVD ripper that converts DVD VOB files to MP4 iPod video format. It does the conversion quite quickly. All it takes is for you to get the DVD into the machine`s drive and select the VOB files that are to be converted and then click the convert button. You can set zoomed mode or view in full screen. The interface is simple. It has a large area where you can get the clips listed, clips that are to be converted to iPod video. Control buttons on the side bar lets you add, delete functions so that creating a list is easy. Then you can start the batch process of the conversion. Output progress bar indicates how far the conversion is done. There are several fields in the lower half of the display that indicates frames processed, elapsed time, time remaining etc. There`s a log area in the interface that logs the events related to the conversion process. Overall: A handy little utility that is very simple to use. However with so many formats being handled, there`s always a possibility of problems with one of them.
