Smart SFX Description

Smart SFX is a very useful software tool that you can have on your computer, as it can help create self-extracting zip files. These types of files are also referred to as ‘SFX zip files’. You know that normally, in order to create archives, also known as zip files, you need a program like UnRAR or 7-Zip. When using the application Smart SFX, you will no longer need other tools such as the ones described above, because your archives will be able to self-extract. There are two types of files that you can make using this app: the standard self-extracting Zip fie and the one for software installation. While the first format allows you to distribute documents, graphics and other such files easily, the second is more appropriate for third party install or setup programs. The files will be unzipped into a temporary folder, executed and, after everything is installed, deleted. In addition to that, you should also know that Smart SFX also allows you to split a ZIP file into multiple files, each located on other removable drives. For example, let us say that you need to archive a pretty big file and you only have two small sized USB sticks. This program will allow you to split the file into two ZIP files, each occupying as much space as possible. The interface is very simple and the program presents you step by step explanations, and therefore, Smart SFX can be used by both people who know IT and who do not.
