Sit and Wait (Sit&Wait) was created as a cross-platform and Open Source event recorder application. Sit and Wait manages to integrate the features of a video player, an image viewer and a spreadsheet editor. Sit and Wait si specially designed to research and study animal and human behavior. The program can be used to record any animal or human bevavioral states or events from a video file. The results of the manual or automated data recording can be exported into text files for statistical evaluation purposes.
