The Service Watchdog application was developed to be a small program which will check every 10 minutes, and restart an NT service if necessary. It defaults to the W3SVC (web publishing) service. To Use: Run without any commandline parameters to restart the WWW Publishing Service (W3SVC). If you want to restart another service, pass its name on the commandline when starting the program, i.e. ServiceWatchdog POP3S will restart the IMS POP3 Server service if needed. If you want to change the interval (it defaults to 10 minutes), use an additional commandline parameter, i.e. ServiceWatchdog POP3S 30 will restart the IMS POP3 Server service every 30 minutes, if needed. You MUST include the service name if you are going to change the interval. NOTE: you have to use the name
