What adds real value is the free hand selection. The image thus captured can be in any one of the formats that include PNG, BMP, TIFF, PPM, XBM, XPM, ICO, JPEG, JPG, and TIF. The software tool runs from the tray and you can capture very easily with a click. A countdown timer is another value add. This allows time for you to set things up. This countdown timer can create a delay to allow you to prepare your desktop or open sub menus. A magnifier available lets you magnify corners, edges or sides of the region you are trying to capture, when you capture screenshot of frame or freehand region on Mac. The interface is quite intuitive and simple to use. The interface is well laid out, making it easy to use; even a complete beginner should be able to start using it quickly. You would not need any tutorial as buttons tell you what to do. An editor lets you add annotations on the images captured. Symbols and annotations like arrows, writing text annotation, add outline, rectangle or ellipse shapes and freehand drawing with pencil tool etc. can really make these screenshots very useful.
