Radian Description

Radian is an application launcher with a great interface and lots of customization features. Radian will help you get your shortcuts organized providing quick access to the applications that you use most frequently. After a simple setup and design, the application will be triggered every time you click and hold the right button of your mouse in any part of the screen. Named after the geometric figure, the application's circular interface is split up in four individual areas or slices, each holding up to six shortcuts. Each slice can be configured and customized in a different way as well as work with its own 'launch mode'. When you first open the application, it will prompt you to the 'Design Mode', there you can determine how you want the app to organize your icons and personalize each slice with different colors and modes. The gear button in the middle of the circle will show you the configuration options for each slice. There you can select the mode or behavior for that area. Modes can be described as categories of shortcuts - they are actually the sources from which the app collects shortcuts - and there are four modes available. Quick Launch will gather icons from the Windows Quick Launch menu, Desktop mode will allow you to organize shortcuts in your desktop, and the third option will display links to recent documents. Custom mode, on the other hand, enables you to add shortcuts to any application, folder, or file you want, letting you choose a name for each one. In my case I chose one mode for each slice, for testing purposes mainly, but you can have more than one slice working with the same mode. The application is very flexible so it all depends on your preferences. Once you're done with the setup, you can launch the application with a right click in any part of the screen and also with a hotkey that you can configure from the application settings.
