PCWin Speaker Record is a small utility that was developed for recording sound on your computer. It records everything that sounds from your speakers. Saying the truth it is the only function of this software. It doesn’t include any extra functions or even options section. Each record can be saved in mp3 or wav format at 128 kbps CD quality. The program can be used for recording Internet radio podcasts or soundtracks from video files. Unfortunately PCWin Speaker Record doesn’t include option of turning off standard sounds. So if Windows plays standard sounds because of any event they will be also recorded. This is real disadvantage especially if you record music. You can turn off standard Windows sounds using control panel. Program’s manual file contains detailed instruction about it. The application has a very easy-to-use interface. Just choose required audio format for your record and start recording by pressing the proper button. After stopping recording define destination folder and name for saving the audio file.
