Micro Meter is a light software tool which can be used in order to monitor your system’s resources from the desktop. This utility is portable and therefore, the installation process can be easily skipped. This means you can run it from any location on the HDD, by simply double-clicking the executable. What’s more, the Windows registry will not suffer any changes whatsoever due to Micro Meter’s presence on the PC. The interface is characterized by simplicity, as it only displays the CPU and RAM usage, expressed as percentages. This enables all user categories to handle it, without experiencing difficulties. By right-clicking on the app’s frame, you bring up a context menu which enables you to view information about the developers, move the meter to the center of the screen, force it to always stay on top of other applications and exit. It is also possible to access the settings panel. The latter lets you enable or disable the UI’s transparency, as well as control its level or allow full transparency, and show or hide a digital clock and network status bar. Being perceived as a background process, this tool is quite friendly to your system’s resources and therefore, it can be used alongside others, without issues. To sum up, Micro Meter proves to be quite a useful piece of software, when it comes to monitoring your computer’s RAM and CPU usage. It has a clean interface and a good response time.
