Mewa Film was designed to be an inovative Editorial, Effects and Finishing software application that will tackle everyday challenges by thinking beyond what has been created to date, to provide more creative freedom with superior performance. Unified 2D/3D compositing: Mewa Film delivers a very efficient Node Graph, both for image processing operations and creating 3D effects. Graphics hardware accelerated: Extensive use of the graphics hardware give Mewa Film the capability to offer levels of performance previously only obtainable using specialised hardware. Scripting: Exposing its internal structure and functionality through a java script interface, the user can use expressions to model animations and create scripts to automate repetetive tasks. Open, Customizable Architecture: To extend the out-of-the-box feature set of Mewa Film with high performance tools, Mewa Film provides an open, extensible architecture, where everybody can create its' own image processing algorithms and 3D effect using Mewa MFX files.
