Media Player Field Type Description

This SharePoint solution will allow you to display a media player in a column of you document library. The library can contain movie files of different formats. The player will appear in the standard list view of the library and the details page of a library item. To install this solution package use this command: stsadm.exe -o addsolution -filename MediaPlayerFieldType.cab and deploy it via the central administration console. Main features: Display a media player according to the file type: MOV, AVI, WMV, FLV file types. Possibility to choose between Windows Media Player and Silverlight Player for AVI and WMV files. Option for autoplay the movie on page loading.
