MID 2 WAV is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to convert audio tracks from the Midi format to the Wave extension. It can be easily handled by novices. The interface of the program is plain and simple. MID 2 WAV has very limited features, so you shouldn't have any problems in getting around them. MID files can be imported into the list by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is not allowed. So, once you specify the output destination and filename, you can proceed with the encoding process. During this time, the program plays the respective audio track. In addition, you can adjust the volume before conversion. The simplistic application requires a very low amount of system resources (which can be barely noticed) and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. However, it can take a very long time to complete a task (as long as the song itself). But that shouldn't be a problem in the unregistered version because it limits the conversion to few seconds. Unfortunately, MID 2 WAV wasn't able to complete successful tasks when we tested it. We couldn't hear anything when we played the output tracks (although music could be clearly heard during conversion).
