My older kid loves science and programming, he spent a lot of time on the computer as a result. I've been looking for a parental control program up and down - while many cover some aspects really well, none meets my main requirments: to limit the daily computer usage and enforce break time. Logon Timer is a lightweight program to do just that. It lets you define how much time a user can have per day; and how much time each session lasts before a user has to take a break. Because LogonTimer does only usage enforcement, it's best to use it together with other parental control software to make a complete solution. I personally recomend: - OpenDNS for web content filtering - Windows built-in parental control for scheduling This is a home-made software, so it's not as polished as I want it to be.
