Logoff/Shutdown Text Remover is a tiny application that removes the shutdown text from the Start menu, as the name implies. It does not include any configuration settings, so the tool can be fiddled with even by users with little or no experience in software programs. Installation is not a requirement, so you can just drop the executable file somewhere on the hard disk and click it to run. There is also the alternative to save Logoff/Shutdown Text Remover to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any machine with minimum effort. What's important to take into account is that the Windows Registry does not receive new entries, and files are not left behind on the hard disk after eliminating the tool. The interface is represented by a regular window with a common structure, where Logoff/Shutdown Text Remover shows a description and provides two buttons for patching the tool and canceling. Modifications are immediately applied to the system. Unfortunately, you cannot restore settings to their default values. Logoff/Shutdown Text Remover does not put a strain on system resources, as it runs on a very low amount of CPU and RAM. It has a good response time and finishes the task quickly, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up error messages. All in all, Logoff/Shutdown Text Remover serves its purpose.
