Do you miss the possibility to place HPGL files?A lot of 3D programs export in HPGL format. But you can't palce HGPL files directly in InDesign. Not until you get the HPGL Import plugin from Knowbody. The Plugin allows you to import a HPGL fil. This is done via a convertion of the HPGL file into an Adobe Illustrator file. It is this AI file that is placed inside InDesign. The Plugin automatically detects when your HPGL file has been modified and makes a new version of the AI file. In the Links palette you wil see this change as a modification of the AI file that needs update in InDesign Note: Since our existing customers are using systems that only uses a subset of the HPGL command set, we have choosen only to implement this subset. The Plugin will warn you if it encounter commands that haven't yet been implementet. You can see a list of the implemented HPGL commands under "FAQ".
