From IntelliSafe Technologies : The IntelliSafe Vault Desktop provides digital signing, express delivery, and secure storage functionality for documents from the familiar Microsoft Office environment. Users can sign from the IntelliSafe task pane in Microsoft Office Word or Outlook. These legally binding documents are encrypted and securely stored in the IntelliSafe Vault, a companion server-side application to the IntelliSafe Vault Desktop, where they are protected from content changes and backdating. Access to files is controlled through Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) or E-mail Based Identification and Authentication (EBIA) with a confirmed e-mail address and password. A complete audit trail shows who has viewed or signed the documents and when. Version 3.4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
