Edit By ImageSurfer is a sophisticated 3D imaging freeware. It allows investigators to visualize and analyze multi-channel 3D and 4D (time-lapse) volumes. Key Features: ImageSurfer can load TIFF, GIF, JPEG, BMP, ASCII, Dicom, FITS, PNG and PGM files. It can also directly load Leica, and Zeiss confocal files. ImageSurfer provide several 3D filters to Improve signal-to-noise ratio. ImageSurfer provide three deconvolution algorithms (Wiener filter, Constrained iterative, Maximum likelihood). ImageSurfer offers traditional 3D visualization including directional illumination, maximum intensity projection, direct volume rendering, and isosurface rendering. In addition, the software has a nove colored isosurface mode, to provide a qualitative display of the Correspondence between two channels ImageSurfer can display height fields using a 2D Slice extractor and sample signal intensity value along auser defined curve. 3D representations can be saved as images (TIFF) and movies (AVI). Isosurface models can be exported as VRML and OBJ files.
