Clean interface and options you can tweakThe interface is quite simple to handle, as it consists of a menu bar, two panes which allow you to view a list of connected users and the messages sent by others, and a box in which you can write your text. The language can be changed, while from the settings panel you can set up the tool to remember user and server names and the IP address, as well as play a sound when new messages are received. Conclusion To sum up, Home Chatter is a pretty efficient piece of software when it comes to talking with other people. The interface is suitable to all users although not very appealing, the response time is good, the CPU and memory usage is minimal and we did not pick up on any errors, bugs or freezes.
