The Cluster does complete monitoring of all resources in a Windows Cluster environment while the Database Check, checks status of your databases. The Disk space module helps find free disk space. It sends out alerts when preset thresholds are reached. In a distributed file system sort of operation, this tool will make sure when disks are replicated, they are replicated correctly at all the nodes where they are supposed to be replicated. GlobalHealth is a module that really tracks the health by way of performance of the network resources globally. The items checked regularly include parameters like CPU Utilization, Memory, Hard disk IO, Network IO etc. Printer status is checked through the Printservers module. It checks Windows printserver and notifications are issued if a printer is offline, needs toner, etc. Process status, whether it is healthy and running alright, is through the ProcessChecker module, SNMP traps are handled, sent by devices that could do so. Services & Devices module runs checks on windows services & devices. Several logs help you acquire useful data. The Eventlog checks Windows Eventlog and logs errors, warnings, etc. Automatic full description of what the logged message means, the severity and what you should do to solve the possible problem, or prevent system failure is available to the administrator. Logfiles, check logfiles (mostly textbased) for keywords supplied (like error, warning, fatal etc) and get notified if such a message is logged to the supplied logfiles are some supporting features.
