Gold Spot is a small widget that shows the gold price movement through a chart provided by Kitco.com, directly on your desktop. It is easy to install and set up, regardless of the user's experience level. After a brief installation operation, you are welcomed by a small frame that you can move to any position on the desktop, by using the mouse cursor. Aside from the graphical representation of the gold price movement, you can view up to three currency rates, which can be configured from the Widget Preferences screen, together with the update interval. Widget Engine, you can set the frame to stay on top or below all the other windows, to ignore mouse events and to prevent dragging. Plus, you can adjust its opacity level between 20% and 100%.
