Editor's review: This is a program that will check grammar and spelling in your writings. Ginger Software is a contextual grammar and spell checker. It is particularly useful for everyday use in your correspondence, notes, memos and other documents that you deal with everyday. It is based on full sentence context. It would thus, be able to catch a larger percentage of your grammatical problems and spelling errors. As far as spellings go there are two variations possible. As long as you are able to specify beforehand whether you are going to use American or English spellings, the program will work take care of the variation and will use the appropriate correct version. The product operates as an online service and supports MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Firefox. The context based corrections adds an additional dimension to the spell checking. Even when the spelling of the word is correct, the product will determine if it is a correct use in the context of the full sentence. That can really take care of a fair percentage of additional problems that straight spell checkers may not be able to catch. Your writing is marked, wherever the program finds a problem and it is up to you to correct these. The tool works through F2 button. You need to specifically accept the changes suggested. The integrated text to speech tool has a very natural voice in which it reads out the text. It is a nice way to learn the pronunciations well quite quickly.
