FaaRClock Description

Customizing the appearance of the desktop is among the activities users like to engage in, as it reflects their preferences and gives them control over their PC environment. Aesthetically speaking, there are several ways to customize your desktop, from personalizing the theme, wallpaper and screensaver, to changing the icons and their display. FaaRClock is a lightweight program that lets you change your desktop by using an analog clock as a screensaver. You can install only the screensaver or the extra configuration application as well. After installing the software, it is automatically set as the default screensaver. When you are away from your computer, the application displays an analog clock to display the time. The application is highly customizable, as it allows you to configure it according to your preferences. First of all, you have the possibility to choose the desired method for waking up the system: you can choose the mouse moves or clicks, key strokes or even a custom hot key. In addition to this, you are able to change the appearance of the clock. For example, you can modify the background color and disable the cursor. Furthermore, the program allows you to mute any sound or disable CD autorun when the screensaver is on. Optionally, you can install the configuration application that offers additional possibilities to customize the appearance of the analog clock. While previewing the clock, you can change the brightness level, the color and the border width. Moreover, the program allows you to disable the beginning animation. Although it is a simple and lightweight program, FaaRClock allows you to personalize the appearance of your computer screen and know what the time is.
