Welcome to Explorer Launcher. Explorer Launcher is a simple tool designed to launch Windows Explorer from the system tray and is very customizable. Windows Explorer defaults to opening in the c: drive. Many people with multiple drives, or a folder they frequently use, would like to start somewhere else. So, where do you want to go today? Use the drive and directory boxes to choose the directory you want to explore from. You can either choose the normal 2-pane window, or the 1-pane window like when you double-click on My Computer. Checking the "Show only this folder" box will not allow you to go to any higher folder, only subfolders. The "Show all drives" option is very useful for people with multiple drives, as no drive is expanded on startup. Click the "Launch Now" button to launch explorer. Click the Save button to save these settings so that they will be the default settings next time. Click the minimize button to minimize to the system tray. Once it is in the system tray, right-click on the icon and choose LAUNCH!!! to start explorer with the last settings you had. Click Options on the menu to get back to the settings controls. About and Exit are pretty self-explanatory.
