ExifDataView Description

ExifDataView is a lightweight and simple-to-use Windows program that displays the EXIF information of JPEG images. It sports a basic set of features that can be easily figured out by anyone. Portability benefits Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can drop the program files in any part of the HDD and just click the EXE to run ExifDataView. Another option is to save the app to a pen drive or other form of mass storage device, thus running it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers. An important aspect to consider is that the Windows registry and Start menu do not receive new entries, thus no tracks are left behind after ExifDataView's removal. Straightforward and user-friendly interface The main app window has a clean and intuitive structure that makes it easy to navigate. A JPEG image can be imported using either the file browser or drag-and-drop support. View and export data Details include the property ID and group, along with value, value type and length for each property name. It is possible to copy selected items or everything to the Clipboard, as well as to apply the same rule for exporting information to TXT, CSV, HTM, HTML or XML format for closer inspection and safekeeping. In addition, you can use a search function when dealing with large amounts of data, and create an icon to the program in the system tray area for easy access. The app does not hog system resources, since it uses low CPU and memory. It is very responsive to commands and works fine, without triggering Windows to hang, crash or pop up error messages. Conclusion All in all, ExifDataView serves its purpose when it comes to displaying EXIF data for JPEG images, and can be used by all user groups.
