Easiestutils DVD Audio Ripper is an application that allows you to extract the audio stream (to MP3 or WAV) from your DVDs. It can be easily used by individuals of any experience level. The interface of the tool is plain and simple to work with. You can import a DVD by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing). In the list you can check out the name, time segment, time, progress and output filename of the DVD title. So, after you specify the output destination and format, you can proceed with the encoding task. Additionally, you can select the index, audio track and output file split mode (chapters, custom time or custom size), preview clips and take snapshots, as well as enable Easiestutils DVD Audio Ripper to automatically turn off the computer or open the output location once the task has been completed. Furthermore, you can configure DVD settings regarding audio and video preferences for the sample frequency rate, frame rate, MUX rate, quant matrix, audio and video synchronization, and others. The program runs on a moderate quantity of system resources, takes a reasonable amount of time to complete a task, has a good response time and manages to keep a good sound quality. We haven't come across any issues during our tests, since Easiestutils DVD Audio Ripper did not freeze or crash. On the other hand, there is no help file available and the unregistered version is severely limited. We recommend this software with reservations.
