Organizing the CD and DVD collection can be made easier if you actually had proper labels for the cases. Disk Label Designer is a light tool that was created to help you put together and print such labels. The program has an extremely simple interface that should be easy to figure out by all users. While some disc burning programs come with an integrated tool for this job, they are often hard to handle due to their complexity. Disk Label Designer can easily be handled by first-time users, thanks to the intuitive layout. The app enables users to load images from the computer. These can be in any of the supported file formats, such as BMP, GIF, JPG, WMA or ICO. If the pictures have a smaller resolution than the template, you may enlarge it by pulling its corners. Alternatively, it’s possible to select a background color and keep that instead of the images. Also, you may add text to the labels. By accessing the context menu, it’s possible to select a font name, style, size and color, as well as one of the available effects, such as strikeout and underline. The app can create four different types of labels, namely for the standard disc size, jewel case, mini disk and case. The output files can be saved to BMP format or sent directly to the printer. All in all, Disk Label Designer is a nice tool that can be quite helpful whenever you create new CDs and DVDs.
