Here is the official description for David Henry HAL: This HAL application is an Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) program which can speak in a normal voice and respond to over 45 voice commands from the user. HAL can perform many common computer tasks and read any text for the user. HAL can also start an e-mail message, display PC System Information, create a reminder and access the World Wide Web. The HAL speech recognition package included, plus added features MS Media Player interface and daily reminder. There is extensive A.I. help for all areas of the program. After installation, go to the HAL Program folder (Start/Programs/HALProgram) and install the HAL Speech Recognition Programs first: a) For Windows 98 systems only: Install 4 programs, execute each program in the "HAL" program folder. The order should be as follows: 1) MSAgent 2) Speech Panel 3) HAL Voice 4) *Speech Recognition b) For Windows 2000, Me or XP systems: Install 3 programs, execute each program in the "HAL" program folder.
