Cartoon YourSelf Description

Cartoon YourSelf is a simple-to-use software application which lets you transform images into cartoons, backed by a few standard and intuitive options which can be adjusted by all types of users, even the ones with no kind of experience in graphics editing applications. The program offers support for JPG, PNG, TIF, TIFF and BMP formats. Setting it up takes little time and minimal effort. Its interface is not particularly attractive but simple to get around. Based on a standard window with a familiar structure, Cartoon YourSelf lets users open a photograph using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop support is not featured. The image is shown full sized. Unfortunately it is not possible to fit it to the screen or resize it in any other way for that matter. The primary window can only be maximized. When it comes to the image contour, you can select the edge detection method between Sobel and Sobel Bold, as well as adjust the contour and base level. It is also possible to edit luminance and pre-effect properties in regard to the segments and presents, as well as apply an effect between auto equalization, exposure, and BCS manual. Last but not least, the color and intensity modes can be changed. The program runs on low CPU and RAM but has a slow response time. The results are not extraordinary. However, we have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, since the tool did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
