The software has been designed as universal application for security cross platforms working simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal form and controls on the local and apart pcs. Customers see MPEG-4 coded video and have complete management of the software using net that security computer can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure drastically improves reliability because all modules work as independent programs. If one unit freezes, other units keep on running. For example if the `capture` module freezes, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video via a `playback` unit. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be started by movement, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant station through Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
