Aiseesoft iPad to Computer Transfer Ultimate is an iOS backup tool. Unlike other products by Aiseesoft, this one only lets you transfer content from your iOS device to your computer, and not the other way around. This tool can be used to transfer pretty much anything that you can store on your iPad or iPhone, be it music, movies, TV shows, ringtones, books, podcasts, text messages and even contact information. When your device is connected, it will be listed on the left pane. Below its name, you will see a list of all the files types that you can transfer. To back something up, you simply select the file or files that you want to transfer and click on the "Transfer" button. The application can also grab some content from backup files if you have previously synced your device with iTunes. This is great for when your device crashes and has unrecoverable data on it and one good reason to always back up your device when you sync it. Aiseesoft iPad to Computer Transfer Ultimate did a good job of detecting my iPad and letting me copy content to my computer. I like that there is a built-in player that lets you listen to your songs before you transfer them. Browsing photos was a bit slow, but way faster than some applications that I tried in the past.
