Here is the official description for xCursors: xCursors is a BASh script that allows system administrators and normal users to manage mouse themes under xorg-x11. Main features are: installing, setting, removal and listing of mouse themes. The script can manage system themes (shared and Default) and user themes. If called by a normal user it will work into his own home directory, else it will work into the shared thems directory (default is /usr/share/Cursors/xorg-x11 but you can specify your own into the configuration file.
