wikidPad Description

WikidPad is a tool for making lists or for organizing various things. Its design is similar to any notepad applications, however, it has many more features. The program is very well organized and has a thorough help section which will appear when you first open WikidPad. For a better view of the information you can export the wiki file in the html format. The first impression of the program is that it is quite complicated because of the huge size of the help section, but once you get to creating your own wiki file, you'll find that WikidPad's design is almost flawless. If you've worked in MS Word before, you'll have no problems creating your own wiki file. On the left side of the window you'll have the overall layout of the file with tabs and sub-tabs which you can customize as you deem fit. An icon can be added in front of any tab to make it stand out or to better describe the tab. The color can also be changed. On the right side of the program you'll have the description area where you can write as much information as you want. Images can be added here, as well as creating connections between tabs for an easier browsing experience. The developers also released the source code for free, so in case you want to do a little tweaking you can do so. The program was mainly written in Python. After you're done creating the wiki file you can publish it as a single html page or a series of pages. The published version looks very good and works very well. Dennis Niels Editor rating:
