sWeather Description

sWeather is an application designed to reside in the system tray and offer you information about the weather conditions in your hometown or any other location on Earth. It displays a comprehensive interface that provides straightforward information about overall weather conditions, temperature, humidity, visibility and wind speeds. It also offers you the time at which the sun rises and sets, along with the location’s latitude and longitude coordinates. A part of this information can also be viewed when placing the mouse cursor over the system tray icon of the application. All of the above info is displayed in the main window in an easy to read font. sWeather enables you to choose multiple locations and view the forecast from each of them though they are not displayed at the same time. You have to switch from one to the next using the back and forward buttons that the application provides or you can very well use the left and right keys on your keyboard for the same effect. But to be able to use your keyboard, you need to have the main window of the application selected. In case you want to view the available information for all the locations that are added to sWeather you can do so by opening the ‘Expanded View’. This offers you a detailed table that contains the previously mentioned data along with a 10 day forecast. You can surely use this feature to compare weather conditions from different locations when you’re planning a trip. Since the weather isn’t a constant, the application also lets you select the refresh rate for all the displayed information. This way you are kept to speed with all the changes. In closing, sWeather is by all means a reliable and practical weather forecast app that you can either keep in plain sight or discretely hidden.
