packVol Description

packVol is a sophisticated load planning software able to find the best possible arrangement of “rectangular” packages in one or more containers. The application has no limits on the number of containers, or on the total number of different package items, or on the total number of packages it can handle, which are limited only by the available memory. The program, thanks to proprietary algorithms, developed in many years of research, is extremely fast and can optimize space utilization for load plans with thousands of packages in fractions of a second on a common personal computer. packVol has the unique feature to let you work in two distinct modes, automatic and manual: - In automatic mode the load plan is evaluated by the internal optimizer of the program; - In manual mode the load plan is defined by the User, thanks to a 3D graphical environment having the most common editing functionalities: select, copy, paste, cut, undo, redo, zoom, pane, etc..
