libpxl Description

libpxl is designed to be a 3D computer graphics library that is written in C / C++. The library is composed of modules that are useful in the everyday life of a computer graphics programmer. The library uses OpenGL as a backend renderer. The main module contains classes and functions to handle essential computer graphics entities such as cameras, meshes, materials, lamps (light sources) and more. A scene can be composed using instances of those classes and rendered on the screen using the build-in renderer, which uses OpenGL. libpxl contains a math module that provides basic linear algebra used in computer graphics such as vector, matrix and operations to perform linear transformations such as translation, rotation, scaling or projection. The library supports the Wavefront obj file format for loading meshes and materials from files. Image files are handled using libgd.
