jPDFViewer Description

Based on JavaBeans, jPDFViewer is an app that allows you to view the content of your PDF documents, without the need of third-party programs. It can be seamlessly handled, even by inexperienced users. The tool comes with a user-friendly interface where you can load PDF files by using only the file browser because the 'drag and drop' method is not supported. So, you can zoom in and out, jump to a specific page, set bookmarks and search for text, as well as use a hand, selection and loupe tool. In addition, you can view the actual size of the page or fit it to the width, rotate pages, take snapshots, scroll the pages and print documents. Furthermore, you can import and export forms (e.g. FDF, XFDF, XML), as well as disable the toolbar or print button. The simple-to-use Java bean runs on a high amount of CPU and system memory, and has a good response time. We have not come across any issues during our evaluation; jPDFViewer did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. However, the tool comes with limited features. For example, you cannot minimize jPDFViewer to the system tray. Thanks to the intuitive layout and overall simplicity, jPDFViewer can be seamlessly worked with.
