im2ascii Description

im2ascii was developed as a small, accessible and fun application that allows all its users to convert images to ascii-art. To do so, it does not only use each character's mean brightness (like most other ascii-art generators), but matches the full character shape. im2ascii was created with the help of the Python programming language and features a highly customizable preprocessing and matching algorithm.
