iView Description

iView is a simple-to-use software application which enables you to view image files. The tool supports plenty of formats, including BMP, GIF, PCD, PSP, PSD and TGA. The interface of the program is based on a standard window where you can locate images by using the Explorer-based layout. So, you can create a slideshow, set an image as wallpapers, view it in full screen mode, save it to a new file with the BMP or JPG format, as well as zoom in and out. Configuration options for the program revolve around the background color, TWAIN scanning mode, file associations, slideshow delay, JPEG compression quality, progressive encoding mode and the grayscale filter, just to name a few. The program needs a low-to-moderate amount of system CPU and memory, and has a good response time. We have not come across any issues during our tests; iView did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, iView can be easily handled by users of any level of experience. However, the app's features are pretty limited.
