eIMAGE Recovery Description

eIMAGE Recovery performs professional recovery and restore actions of deleted or corrupt files. It concentrates mostly on graphic images and is able to recover data from memory sticks / cards, Flash devices, MMD, XD and MicroDrive. Among the files supported by the application, are the following: BMP, JPG, GIF, TIFF, CRW, RAF, DCR, MRW, NEF, RIFF, AVI, MID, MOV, MPG and WAV to name the most important ones. A few of these extensions are specific to digital cameras such as Canon, Fuji, Kodak, Minolta and Nikon, so if you’re the owner of one of the aforementioned devices and you lost your photos, eIMAGE Recovery can get the data back for you. The user interface is simple and easy to follow, a bit colorful, but not the kind of colors that hurt the eyes. The application presents itself as a step-by-step wizard: the first step is to choose the drive of interest, while the second allows you to select the types of files that should be taken into account during the scan process. Also, this would be a good time to mention that the application offers two scanning choice: a quick one that searches only for deleted files and the Full method, which also scans for lost media content. In addition, you can configure the standard or custom memory card size. On top of it all you can select a drive to wipe or format, as well as perform a live update. A full scan takes very long time to complete, but it's thorough, so everything is found. And memory resources are minimally used even when scanning is active. Results can be saved locally. In conclusion, eIMAGE Recovery is a reliable solution if you’re confronted with situations when you lose data and would like to get it back quickly and effectively.
